approximately 0.7468 miles from our present location. With twice the space of
our current facility and even more electrical power, our new building will
allow us to provide even better service. Our phone numbers have not

Does your cuurent repair facility outsource?
It is very likely that they do. Ask
to speak to their technicians. If you can, visit their 'facility'. Some on
the Internet that compete with us are simply brokers working out of a small
office or their house, with no technicians of their own, outsourcing all their
work to others. Make sure you know who you are dealing with. We
never outsource our repairs providing you with an accountable repair trail from
receipt to delivery.
A Brief History of Test Point Inc: TPI traces its
roots to a group of salesmen, engineers and technicians who worked together
repairing industrial electronics from 1984 to 1994. In 1994, that core
group formed Test Point Inc. with a goal to provide an quality industrial electronic repair
source for manufacturers and utilities in the
Mid-Atlantic area.
Bringing with them over 100 years of experience in
the field and and all our old customers, we moved into our first building on
Mountain Rd, Joppa MD in June '94 where we performed our first job, the repair
of a Marsh LCP2 Terminal. Amazingly, we actually got paid for it and business
took off.
Although the Mountain Rd. location was very accessible, (it was
literally 100 feet from the ramps to Interstate 95), it was small and we
eventually outgrew it.
In March
2002 after approx. 8½ years we moved to our new bigger facility in Forest Hill
MD, approx. 10 miles from the old Mountain Rd. building. The new building has 2
main benefits over the old one: more space which allows us to drive fork lift
trucks around at high speeds and more power which allows us to do outrageous
things with very large rotating machines. Located in The Forest Hill
Industrial Airpark, we are now only 100 feet from an aircraft runway.

We are now in our 13th year as Test Point. We have repaired
over 69000 electronic assemblies from customers as far away as Alaska and
Ecuador, Bahrain and Germany and we have performed over 2600 on-site field
services for local businesses.
It is important to note that we
perform all our own repairs. We use technicians with years of experience.
We do not send out our repairs to other firms.
The Internet has certainly helped our sales
activities. Now, in addition to sales via direct field representation, we
receive phone calls from around the world on a daily basis because of this web
site. The Internet and opportunities in the product sales area (currently under
development) can only propel Test Point upwards, making us a leader in
Industrial Electronics and Controls.
