EQUIPMENT SERVICE WARRANTY
All products repaired by Test Point Inc. except where
indicated below are warranted to our
customer against defects in our material and workmanship for a period of 12 months
from the date of our repair invoice.
All AC, and DC Drives repaired by Test Point Inc. are warranted to our
customer against defects in our material and workmanship for a period of 6 months
from the date of our repair invoice.
We do not warranty Servo Drives.
We must be notified of any warranty claims before the end
of the warranty period, together with return of the claimed defective
product within this same period.
The liability of Test Point Inc. under this warranty is limited to the
replacement or repair, at our choice, of any defective component(s) free of
charge to our customer.
Freight and rush fees for returned product remain the responsibility of the
customer.
Adjustment is contingent upon our examination of the repair
and that the apparent defects have not been caused by misuse, abuse, improper
installation or application, unauthorized repair during the warranty period,
alteration, accident or negligence in use, storage, transportation or handling.
This warranty will not apply to items that fail due to
misapplication, including but not limited to improper operation, handling,
storage or installation; negligence, abnormal temperature, moisture, dirt or
corrosive conditions; or an act of God.
Unauthorized in-field repair or tampering with repaired items
will result in our warranty being voided immediately.
No refunds will be issued after 30 days from date of invoice.
On-site work is not covered by any warranty or guarantee.
Test Point Inc. shall not be liable for consequential damages
direct or indirect or
for injury to persons or property or commercial loss or otherwise arising out of
repair services or remanufactured products.
Freight and rush fees for any returned product remain the
responsibility of the customer.
Test Point Inc. is not a distributor sanctioned by the
original manufacturer and we are not a party to any manufacturer’s warranty that
may or may not apply.
Any dispute regarding this warranty shall be governed by the
laws of the State of Maryland and any action brought related thereto shall be
brought in the Circuit Court for Harford County, MD.
THIS WARRANTY IS GIVEN IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTIES,
EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THAT WE DISCLAIM ANY WARRANTY OF
MERCHANTABILITY FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, QUALITY, AND/OR
NON-INFRINGEMENT.
